ARMADA SPRING BARLEY
New spring barley variety ARMADA has produced some excellent results in independent trials held in the eastern counties and south west regions. ARMADA has been identified as a potential organic variety due to its very clean disease profile, taller stiff straw and excellent yield potential.
In TAG organic trials held in Cornwall ARMADA not only out-performed current leading spring varieties Cellar, Dandy, Optic and Doyen but also the new high yielding varieties Power, Tocada, Troon, Waggon and Wicket.
